The P Family – Omaha Nebraska Adoption Photographer

Two weeks ago, I received an email inquiry from the P Family who had just brought their newest son home from China. We met on a Wednesday evening for our session, and I was immediately charmed by incredibly sweet (and growing) family.

When D. and S. married nearly 18 years ago, they both agreed that they would like to adopt children in the future. When their biological twins turned 5, D. and S. decided to go to China to adopt a daughter and, just like that, their adoption journey began.

For D. and S., the desire to adopt only grew after seeing the orphanage and how the children lived there. They knew, without a doubt, that God was calling them to give the gift of a loving family to more children.

Fast forward 3 more years. The P Family was blessed again when they brought another daughter home.

During the adoption, D. and S. learned that China had a new policy which allowed adopting families to re-use their paperwork to bring home another child. Once again, they felt God’s hand guiding them, and just two months ago, they welcomed another son into their family. In the short few weeks in his new home, little J has grown and blossomed into a joyful, smiling boy who loves pizza and has a bright future stretching out before him.

Thank you, P Family, for sharing your incredible story!
